Yes, Batabd.com offers Easy Monthly Installment (EMI) facilities on eligible products purchased through the batabd.com platform. The EMI facility is available exclusively for payments made using partner bank credit cards and is subject to approval, eligibility criteria, and applicable terms and conditions of the issuing bank. Availability of EMI, including tenure options and applicable Convenience Fee or Charges, may vary depending on the issuing bank’s policies and the customer’s credit profile. Batabd does not guarantee EMI approval, as final authorization and processing of the installment facility are handled solely by the respective issuing bank.

What are the terms and conditions for EMI on BataBd?

• EMI is available on selected Bata Bd products only.

• EMI eligibility applies to a minimum cart value of BDT 5,000.

• Customers must have a valid credit card with sufficient limit.

• Available tenures: 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24 & 36 months, subject to bank policy.

• EMI interest, if any, is determined by the issuing bank. Batabd does not charge any markup or require a down payment.

• Any convenience fee or applicable charges are imposed by the issuing bank.

Which banks are eligible for EMI?

EMI is available only on partner bank credit cards. Availability may vary based on bank policy and tenure. The list of available banks is displayed on the Product Detail Page (PDP).

How does EMI work?

• First, add your products to the cart.

• The cart total should be a minimum of BDT 5,000.

• Select checkout, proceed to payment.

• Enter your card number, select your EMI tenure, and fill in your card details.

• You will receive an OTP on your registered phone number / email address.

• Enter the code and place your order.

What are the Interest & Charges?

EMI interest, if applicable, is determined solely by the issuing bank. BataBd does not charge any markup and does not require any down payment. Any processing fee, tax, or additional charge is imposed by the issuing bank as per its applicable terms.

What are the Customer Responsibilities?

Customers are responsible for timely repayment of all EMI installments. BataBd shall not be liable for any late payment charges, penalties, or interest imposed by the issuing bank.

Are there any hidden charges for EMI purchases?

BataBd does not impose any hidden charges. Any interest, Convenience fee, tax, or penalty is governed by the issuing bank’s terms.

What is the refund process for an EMI order in case of cancellation or return?

In the event of an order cancellation or product return, the EMI reversal process is subject to the issuing bank's applicable policies and timelines. BataBd will notify the bank upon confirmation of cancellation or return. Any refund of convenience fee or interest charges paid is at the sole discretion of the issuing bank.
