Bata New City Store opened at Satmoshjid Road,Dhanmondi, Dhaka

To cater the increasing needs of the target customers’ group, Bata Shoe Company (Bangladesh) Ltd. has recently opened a new city store at Satmoshjid Road, Dhanmondi, a very busy commercial location in the Dhaka Capital City.

Ourwell established brands – Bata, Power, Marie Claire, Hush Puppies, Scholl, North Star, B.first, Bata Comfit, Ambassador, Bubblegummers and Weinbrenner are prominently highlighted through creating brand corners. The layout of the store has ensured pleasant shopping environment for the customers.

Mr. Rajeev Gopalakrishnan, Managing Director of Bata Shoe Company (Bangladesh) Ltd. officially inaugurated the store. Mr. Yee Siew NG, CFO, Mr. M.A. Quader, Consultant – Business Development, Mr. M. Habibur Rahman, Head of Human Resources, Mr. S.A.M. Yousuf, Retail Manager, Mr. Omar Faisal Chowdhury, Merchandising Manager, Mr. Firoze Mohammad, Store Operation Manager, Mr. Zahidul Huda, Advertising & Promotion Manager, other officials of the company and Mr. Sanjib Kumar Das & Mr. Chiranjib Das the landlords of the premises were present there with distinguished guests to grace the program.

The opening ceremony received extensive press & TV coverage. The initial sales result indicates that the store will exceed the target sale of Tk. 20 million annually.
