Prestigious Best Brand Award 2014 Goes to Bata Bangladesh
In collaboration with leading rating agency Millward Brown, the Bangladesh Brand Forum organized a Best Brand Award Ceremony on November 22 that saw Bata Bangladesh crowned No. 1 in footwear.
The forum has the vision of “transforming Bangladesh through applying a branding ethos among local corporations,” and the Best Brand Awards were conceived to recognize the country’s corporate leaders.
After an extensive nationwide survey by Millward Brown, the top Bangladeshi brands in 30 diverse categories were revealed at a ceremony held at the Hotel Sonargaon in Dhaka. Bata’s position as the leading footwear brand in the country was confirmed after its success last year.
Company manager Chitpan Kanhasiri accepted the award on behalf of the Bata Shoe Company (Bangladesh) Ltd. in front of the high-profile audience, which included other nominees in the category.
